Learning to love yourself,is the greatest love of all
My point here is,all of us,especially myself hehe should learn to love ourselves and not trying to be someone we are not.Of course,you should change to be a better person but there's a distinct line between changing for the good and just faking it.Sometimes,we wish we could have their houses,their cars,their beuty, and all kind of stuff,but the secret to life is beyond our lifes and just grateful for wht you have now.If u feeling grumpy because u've missed lunch,remember tht there are those in desprived countries who are dying because of famine.
I used to be someone who likes to blame others for well,everything.When things didn't go the way I wanted them to be,I would find someone or something to blame for.I didn't like to take the responsibility and it felt nice that way. How wrong I was back then. Not until I read 'The 7 Habits of Highly Effective Teenagers' by Stephen R. Covey, I realised that I wouldn't achieve anything if I keep doing that. The title of the book is kinda corny, but you can't stop reading it once you get hold of it. Highly recommended guys. It changes the way I think and the way I look at things.
For example, one blames the government for the high fuel price and all things related to it, but even if you vent out your anger and frustration to your friends, your neighbours, and even your cats, would things turn out differently? NO. To clarify things up, I'm not being pro-government or anything, I'm just making a point here. Hehehehe.
Hmm, another example, let's say you always fail your Add Maths tests and exams and your parents aren't too happy about that. Because of that, you blame your teachers and you threaten to kill the founder of Add Maths, hahahaha. Would that make any difference? Would you pass your next test? NO. So, why waste your energy doing that?
What I'm trying to say is, whenever things don't go the way you want them to be, you must always look at yourself first and figure out what the problem is. Life is indeed hard; but just deal with it.
